About This Course
To provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge for employment in the biologics manufacturing, food manufacturing, research and development, regulatory affairs and clinical trials, clinical diagnosis and analysis industries, as well as develop communication, problem solving, critical analysis, and digital literacy skills to meet the needs of employers in these industries.
What You'll Learn
In the first year, the course provides students with firm foundation in chemistry and bioscience through modules such as Anatomy & Physiology, Cell Biology & Genetics, Biostatistics, Chemistry and Microbiology. Upon this solid foundation, students can choose one of the two options in their second year. In the final year, students take on Capstone Projects and internships with local or overseas biopharmaceutical or food manufacturing companies, research institutes, and healthcare organisations.
