Master in Public Policy
About This Course
The Master in Public Policy (MPP) programme is a two-year intensive programme designed to equip students with the core knowledge and analytical skills needed to tackle pressing public policy problems. Students in the MPP programme are expected to design innovative and practical solutions to address critical policy challenges confronting governments and society in a rapidly changing world. The curriculum is built on a strongly interdisciplinary intellectual foundation drawn from public policy, economics, public management and political science along with an emphasis on training in research methods for policy analysis. The MPP aims to effectively combine methodological rigour and real-world relevance that allows students to explore a wide range of careers in both the public and private sectors or non-governmental organisations. Through a mix of core and elective modules students will have the opportunity to develop professional competencies in a range of policy-relevant areas.
