About This Course
This course builds on the technical foundations developed in Level I, expanding learners’ skills through thematic projects and art movement studies. Learners will explore realistic skin tones, proportion, reflection, and texture, before engaging with Abstract Expressionism and Art Nouveau. Emphasis is placed on applying colour, form, and compositional principles while drawing inspiration from historical art movements to create original oil paintings.
Completion of Oil Painting I or prior experience in oil painting is required. Applicants with relevant experience are required to submit artworks for the trainer’s review.
