About This Course
This intermediate course builds upon the technical foundations established in Level I, focusing on artistic interpretation and personal expression in watercolour painting. Learners will study the approaches of master watercolourists such as Van Gogh, Louis Anquetin, J.M.W. Turner, and Jules Chéret, analysing how light, colour, brushwork, and atmosphere are used to transform subject matter. Through stylistic exploration and guided practice, learners will develop an analytical mindset and refine their ability to stylise landscapes, seascapes, and scenes with greater emotional depth.
Completion of Watercolour Painting I or prior experience is required, with artwork submission subject to trainer’s review.”
