About This Course
This competency unit is developed in accordance with the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) requirements. On completion of this competency unit; Learners will have the knowledge and application skills to carry out basic maintenance and machinery repair works on rotating equipment in a process plant, which covers the following competency elements:
CE 1: Carry out work preparation in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health legislation and organizational procedures
CE 2: Perform basic maintenance works on rotating equipment
CE 3: Perform machine alignment
CE 4: Perform oil change
CE 5: Perform greasing operation
