About This Course
This unit focuses on building learners’ competency in identifying WSH hazards,
unsafe work conditions/practices and recommending reasonably practicable
control measures at the workplace.

PS 1 : Identify WSH hazards including unsafe work conditions and practices at the workplace.
PS 2: Evaluate the risk level of the hazards identified.
PS 3: Recommend and implement WSH control measures.
PS 4: Monitor and review the effectiveness of the implemented control measures.
PS 5: Identify gaps in the existing control measures and report to management for
appropriate corrective actions and preventive actions.

Entry Requirements
*ES WSQ WPLN Level 5 or GCE “N” Levels in English (Level -5) & Mathematics (Level–5)
*Passed (BCSS/ SSSC/OPISC/BISH/BCSS(Tunneling)) courses with preferably 1 year of relevant working experience in WSH
