About This Course
This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Security Sector.
This course will equip learners with knowledge and skills so that he/she can be employed and deployed at site to work as a security guard as regulated by PLRD (Police Licensing). This is one of the Basic Licensing Unit (BLU) required by individual to attain the Security Officer Licence.
What You'll Learn
1. Contain incidents of damage to facilities & equipment. 2. Handle fire-related incidents. 3. Handle crime-related incidents. 4. Handle medical or 1st Aid incidents. 5. Handle bomb or IED Threat Incidents. 6. Search, Apprehend & Arrest Suspect. 7. Give evidence in court.
Entry Requirements
Primary School Leaving Certificate (PSLE) or equivalent; or at least 3 WSQ Statements of Attainment in Workplace Literacy or Numeracy (WPLN) at Level 1 or 2 (eg under ESS, ESS)
