Perform Plant Civil Work
About This Course
On completion of this unit, learners will acquire the knowledge and skills to perform plant civil construction works. In addition, learners will be equipped with the knowledge and skill in setting out, erecting, reinforcing and dismantling formwork, placing, finishing and curing of concrete.

Entry Requirements
Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:
have related training or experience in a technical/engineering field or equivalent
have knowledge of common hazards and necessary safety precautions
have basic PC literacy
have basic understanding on principles of electricity
have basic workshop practice in handling common tools
be able to listen, speak, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) level 4
be able to process numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ESS level 4
have valid WSQ Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant or WSQ Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant.
