This is an assessment only pathway without training involved.
The Washroom Maintenance course is designed for cleaning professionals as well as beginners, looking to enhance their foundational skills essential knowledge and hands-on skills to maintain clean, safe, and compliant washroom facilities.
Whether you’re new to facility management or seeking to enhance your expertise in stain removal, safety protocols, or operational efficiency, this course empowers you with the practical skills and regulatory knowledge needed to deliver seamless cleaning operations and uphold organisational / Industrial safety standards
What You'll Learn
• Identify and apply methods to remove stubborn stains in washroom facilities using specialized techniques.
• Select and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling corrosive or odour chemicals for stain removal.
• Collect and organize tools, equipment, and supplies on racks or receptacles Follow organisational procedures for the safe use of cleaning chemicals and/or corrosive detergents in stain removal processes.

• Demonstrate the ability to perform basic washroom maintenance tasks
• Demonstrate understanding of legal requirements, including compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and Public Utilities (Water Supply) Regulation 39, in cleaning operations.
• Replenish consumables and office supplies promptly to maintain uninterrupted cleaning workflows.
• Document completion of cleaning tasks by updating inspection cards according to organisational procedures.
• Report work-related challenges or safety concerns to supervisors when activities cannot be completed as planned
Entry Requirements
Full Course:
• No Formal Education
• Have the ability to communicate in at least 1 language either English, Chinese or Malay
• Have work experience in the cleaning industry
Assessment Only Pathway (AOP):
• Have a minimum 2 months of work experience in the cleaning industry on top of the above skills and knowledge
• Company to provide a Company Declaration Form
