About This Course
This course builds on foundational botanical drawing skills and focuses on developing refined botanical artworks through painting. Learners will deepen their understanding of form, proportion, detail, composition, and tonal value while translating observational drawings into finished painted works. Lessons include demonstrations and advanced techniques to enhance accuracy, depth, and aesthetic quality in botanical painting.
Completion of Botanical I or prior experience in botanical drawing and painting is required. Applicants with relevant experience may apply directly to Level II and are required to submit artworks for the trainer’s review. Learners with no prior experience are encouraged to begin with Level I.
