About This Course
To provide participants with knowledge and skills to care and support persons with dementia in their activities of daily living to enhance their quality of life. Participants will also learn about self-care techniques and useful community resources to help them in their care journey for persons with dementia.
What You'll Learn
This workshop equips participants with knowledge and insights into dementia - disease process, signs and symptoms, and impact on persons with dementia and their caregivers. They will acquire skills and techniques to care for persons with dementia in their activities of daily living (ADLs) and enhance their quality of life. They will learn self-care techniques and useful community resources for support.
