About This Course
This course equips students with the skills and knowledge to perform troubleshooting,servicing,repairing and maintaining passenger and commercial vehicles.
What You'll Learn
In this course, students will acquire the skills and knowledge to perform a range of tasks involving the servicing,inspection,repair and diagnosis of systems for petrol and diesel vehicles. The work includes inspection and servicing to mechanical and electrical systems analysis using diagnostic equipment.
Entry Requirements
•Completed GCE ‘O’ level; or
•Completed GCE ‘N’ level; or
•Passed BEST 4 Mathematics (for those with work experience): or
•Accumulated at least 60 hours of structured On-the-Job Training under the Certified On-the-Job Training Centre (COJT) system. The OJT must be relevant to the course applied for; or
•WDA’s Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Reading, Speaking, Listening and Numeracy.
•Free from colour appreciation deficiency
