HumanRobot System Engineering
About This Course
The increasing utilisation of robotics and automation processes beyond industrial applications and into domestic and social spheres has led to an increasing need to make such technology to be easy-to-use for the general public. There is thus a growing demand for humanised robotics technology such as collaborative robotics and RPA that humans would find affine and easy to interact with. It is thus imperative to equip engineers with frontier knowledge in this area of human-robot interactions (HRI).
The participants will acquire the skills for utilising human-machine interfacing approaches for a particular automation effort and be experienced with basic offline robotic programming techniques and visualisation tools. The practical application of tools and hands-on classroom activities will allow attendees to develop the knowledge and skills required to achieve the above-stated objectives.
