Policy Impact Evaluation
About This Course
Data per se are useless if one does not know how make sense of them! The aim of this course is to understand how to evaluate the causal impact of a policy and how to choose the best method depending on the context and on data availability. To do so, this course introduces experimental and quasi-experimental methods for policy impact evaluation in a way that involves a low amount of equations and a high amount of practical examples. Participants will learn why these methods are necessary and in which cases they can be used in practice. This course is thus a key complement to any data-mining course.
