Maintain Quality Control Procedures
About This Course
This module equips learners with the essential knowledge and skills to maintain food and beverage quality standards throughout food production and audit processes. Learners will gain an understanding of organisational food and beverage quality requirements, methods for checking ingredient freshness and quality, and procedures to ensure compliance before and during food preparation.
The programme covers the identification of food quality lapses, appropriate escalation procedures, and corrective actions to be taken when food products or production equipment do not meet quality standards. Learners will also be introduced to the purpose of quality audits, standard operating procedures for audits, and the roles and responsibilities involved in internal and external audits.
Through realistic role play scenarios and oral questioning, learners will demonstrate their understanding of quality control practices, corrective actions, audit preparation, and sampling accuracy in food and beverage operations.
