About This Course
learner will have the knowledge and be equipped with the application skills to function as a member of an emergency response team in order to implement the emergency response skills
during an emergency incident in buildings.
What You'll Learn
1. Interpret emergency response legislations and guidelines.
2. Identify fire hazard scenarios and usage of fire protection system in buildings.
3. Demonstrate use of breathing apparatus according to BA wearer guidelines and entrapment procedures.
4. Assess the emergency situation and conduct firefighting to contain fire in high rise buildings.
5. Participate in rescue and evacuation exercise.
6. Handover incident and provide operational assistance to the appropriate body.

Entry Requirements
Learner are assumed to be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workplace Literacy and Numeracy level 4; and have 1 year working experience in any industry.
