About This Course
A well-designed learning and care environment for young children is one that supports holistic development and learning of young children - challenges their motor skills, stimulates their senses, and fosters their social emotional well-being. The arrangement of the caring environment makes a great difference for both the infants and toddlers. The environment directly affects educator-infant-toddlers’ relationship, and their responses during individual, pair or small group activities.
This course will provide the participants the opportunity to discuss and explore ways to create an empowering learning and caring environment for infants and toddlers. Discussions will include how to personalise the young children’s environment in order to respond to their developmental growth, and changing interests and abilities.
What You'll Learn
1. use their understanding of infant and toddlers’ development to enable them to design a responsive environment for infants and toddlers in individual and group care.
2. set up empowering play spaces for sensorial and movement experiences.
