Statistics for Maritime Logistics

About This Course

This module will cover the basic concepts of Statistics that are specially applicable to the field of Maritime Logistics. The module will upskill the students by starting with fundamentals of statistics going up to the knowledge level where they are able to perform analysis of data as well its visualization and presentation. The students will learn about correlation and regression, its application and inferencing of the results from Maritime Logistics perspective.

The module will impart experiential training to the students by conducting an actual demand forecasting exercise using the tools of statistics learnt during the course of this module. This would skill the students to confidently use data for management of various aspects of a process in Maritime Logistics.

The ultimate objective of this module is to create a pool of resources that can undertake Maritime Logistics related data analysis and presentation using the concepts of Statistics.
