About This Course
To train students to fully grasp new employment opportunities in the field of analytics. As data analyst or business analyst, they would use analytical tools, including programming to wrangle and visualise data, identify patterns and regularities in data and gather insights that are useful for organisations.
What You'll Learn
To provide students with fundamental concepts of data visualisation and storytelling and techniques to present data effectively and eloquently. Students will learn to identify, cleanse and aggregate data sources and create data models that form the foundation for exploratory data analysis. Students will also learn to code in python, which is the foundation for data wrangling and Deep Learning.
To provide students with specialized knowledge and skills in Descriptive Statistics concepts, delving into topics such as central tendency, normal distribution, measures of variability, variance and standard deviation. Learners will be able to perform univariate, multivariate and correlation analysis in order to identify inherent patterns and derive key insights from business data. Students will also learn the tools and skills sets to handle, clean and prepare large curated data sets for data analytics purposes.

Entry Requirements
A recognized local Polytechnic Diploma or Degree in any discipline or at least one (1) year of relevant work experience.
