About This Course

This course is targeted at those who are working as Associate Engineer, Automation Engineer, Equipment Engineer and Robotics Engineer in the areas of installation, commissioning, and maintenance and troubleshooting of automation equipment and robotics equipment and application.

What You'll Learn

Upon graduating from the course, you will be equipped to undertake the following engineering functions:

- installation, commissioning, and maintenance of robotic and automation equipment

- troubleshooting of automation equipment

- application of robot for collaboration in workplace

- configuring programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

Entry Requirements

At least a Polytechnic Diploma or ITE Technical Diploma/Technical Engineer Diploma/Work-Learn Technical Diploma in Engineering.

Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
