About This Course
At the end of this course, you will be able to apply advanced cleaning and perform maintenance of washroom facilities.
What You'll Learn
- Using of the appropriate PPE when performing special cleaning to remove stains in washroom facilities.
- Use the appropriate tools, equipment and supplies to remove stubborn stains found in washroom facilities or hard floor surfaces.
- Perform checks on washroom facilities.
- Carry out basic maintenance of these facilities, when necessary.
- Display the appropriate safety signage at designated area during the course of cleaning the surroundings.
- Replenish consumables office supplies used to ensure smooth cleaning operations with minimum delay.
- Update the inspection card upon completion of cleaning washroom facilities.
- Inform appropriate person or supervisor if work activities cannot be carried out.
- Apply basic first aid procedures to remove corrosive chemicals upon contact with human skin.

Entry Requirements
- Speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level not lower than Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3, and manipulate numbers at a level not lower than Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 3.
- Never attended school; pre-primary / kindergarten education; primary education without PSLE / PSPE certification or equivalent.
- Minimum of two months of work experience in the environmental service industry as a General Cleaner, Multi-Skilled Cleaner or with the interest to be employed in the industry.
