What You'll Learn
This module introduces students to the art and craft of simultaneous ‘live’ video recording using multiple cameras. By taking students through the roles, equipment, and documentation necessary to produce a multi-camera programme, they acquire skills and techniques to operate video cameras vision switchers, and audio, graphics and streaming systems. Students also learn to apply unique multi-camera protocols and directing skills to direct a production. Finally, working as a team, students coordinate their equipment operation skills and directing knowledge to produce content for ‘live’ and streaming platforms.
Entry Requirements
- 3 GCE ‘O’ level with English language (grade 1-7), Mathematics (grade 1-6) and 1 relevant subject (grade 1-6) with 3 years relevant working experience
- NITEC/ NITEC in Technology/ Services (GPA 3.5 and above) with 2 years relevant working experience
- Higher NITEC/ Higher NITEC in Technology/ Services with 1 year relevant working experience
- Relevant WSQ Diploma + Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 6 with 3 years relevant working experience
