What You'll Learn
The Certificate in Visual Design equips students with the knowledge and skills required to develop a professional creative style, tell visual stories, design graphics for digital platforms, and enhance video via post-production and motion graphics techniques. Students learn to build a distinctive professional style that will set them apart from the competition. They also discover how to tell engaging stories through the medium of digital video. Students then go on to learn post-production and motion graphic techniques that enhance video productions. Modules incorporate a range of practical know-how tips and the theory that underpins creative professional practices. Modules also guide students on how to design and produce engaging visual elements to optimise the engagement and experience for users and viewers.
Entry Requirements
- 3 GCE ‘O’ level with English language (grade 1-7), Mathematics (grade 1-6) and 1 relevant subject (grade 1-6) with 3 years relevant working experience
- NITEC/ NITEC in Technology/ Services (GPA 3.5 and above) with 2 years relevant working experience
- Higher NITEC/ Higher NITEC in Technology/ Services with 1 year relevant working experience
- Relevant WSQ Diploma + Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 6 with 3 years relevant working experience
