What You'll Learn
This module enables students to understand the principles and practices related to the planning, managing and running of events. Students will learn to appreciate the impact of timelines, pre-event preparation, on-site management and post-event requirements. The module will provide students with the necessary skills to work in the events sector and to understand the importance of a successfully run event through interactive discussions and presentations.
Entry Requirements
- 3 GCE ‘O’ level with English language (grade 1-7), Mathematics (grade 1-6) and 1 relevant subject (grade 1-6) with 3 years relevant working experience
- NITEC/ NITEC in Technology/ Services (GPA 3.5 and above) with 2 years relevant working experience
- Higher NITEC/ Higher NITEC in Technology/ Services with 1 year relevant working experience
- Relevant WSQ Diploma + Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 6 with 3 years relevant working experience
