Singapore was ranked number 1 in the world in the Global Food Security Index for the second year running in 2019 due to the diversified import sources and long-term planning. There is a need to transform the local agriculture sector into one that is high-tech, highly productive and resource-efficient. This new strategy has also triggered training needs to equip the workforce with skillsets in agritechnology as more farms are adopting high-tech farming methods to improve productivity.
Entry Requirements
A relevant local polytechnic diploma or degree from recognized institutions.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness.
