About This Course
1. Analyse health, safety and environmental hazards and risks due to hazardous sub-stances at the workplace with reference to relevant information sources.
2. Determine appropriate control approaches for hazardous substances based on relevant
information for the hazardous substances control.
3. Implement control measures for hazardous substances in accordance with hierarchy of control and relevant legal and other require-ments.
4. Manage the risks due to hazardous sub-stances in accordance with good risk man-agement practices.
What You'll Learn
On completion of this unit, the learner will have the knowledge and be equipped with the application skills in measuring and as-sessing contaminants at the workplace
Entry Requirements
ES WPLN Level 6, or Grade C6 in GCE ‘O’ Level for English and Mathematics; and Grade C6 in GCE 'O' Level Science (Chemistry and Physics) 9 Or their equivalent
