About This Course
This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Security Sector.
This course aims to equip learners with the basic knowledge and skills required to apply procedures appropriate to terrorism related emergency situations or incidences. Learner will also learn how to harness technology to enhance their productivity in carrying out their duties relating to managing terrorism related incidents.
What You'll Learn
Although Singapore is highly regarded as a country of law and order. The terrorism threat to Singapore remains high. There continues to be cases of Singaporeans (and foreigners) in Singapore being radicalised by violent extremist propaganda.
The Terrorism Financing National Risk Assessment (“TF NRA”) conducted in 2020 has found that Singapore continues to be exposed to TF threats posed by terrorist groups both regionally and internationally, in particular the propensity for individuals in Singapore to be radicalised and influenced to carry out TF activities.
By the end of the course, learners would be equipped with the knowledge and skills in identifying, prevention, management and notification, and how to use technology to achieve better outcome and contribute to better security standards for Singapore.

Entry Requirements
1. Learners must be above the age of 16 at the time of application.
2. No minimum educational entry requirements. However, Learners must meet the required workplace literacy and numeracy level and should possess the relevant assumed skills and knowledge.
