Lean Processes and Simulation (SC1)
About This Course
By the end of the module, participants will be able to:
• Articulate what is Lean and how to it drives operational excellence
• Create process maps, SOPs and value-stream maps to identify process improvement opportunities
• Apply time study and line balancing to improve process performance
• Represent a queuing process as a queuing system and apply basic queuing models
• Evaluate service processes, material flow systems and other automation systems by utilising simulation models
• Present and analyse process data using simple graphical tools
