What You'll Learn

Very often, email marketing has been misunderstood as cold blasts or mass emailing. This method of email marketing is very outdated and no different from distributing flyers. The ideal way of performing email marketing is to build an inbound marketing framework around it. According to HubSpot, Inbound marketing refers to a business methodology that attracts customers by creating valuable content and experiences tailored to them. This could be achieved using email marketing and sending the prospects the relevant content at the right time based on their buyer’s stage and behavior.

Statistics compiled by Digital Influence Lab shows that Singaporeans check their emails regularly and they tend to trust personal advertising like emails than push advertisement like banners. This clearly shows that there is room for businesses to use email marketing. This course is targeted at the retail industry and through this course, businesses will be able to leverage on the benefits of email marketing to penetrate the cluttered noise of advertising and capture the attention of their audience.

Entry Requirements

• Aged 21 and above
• Have basic computer literacy Level 2
• Have minimum GCE “N”, “O” or “A” Level / NITEC or a diploma qualification and minimum 2 years of working experience;
• Have an understanding and working knowledge of sales and marketing principles/practices and
• Have an English language proficiency equivalent of higher of any of the following - GCSE N/O Levels pass in English / WPLN Level 5 / IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL (internet based total) 46-59.
