About This Course
Upon completion of this course, learners will understand the Environmental Sanitation Regime, the roles and responsibilities of Premises Managers and Environmental Control Coordinators (ECCs), as well as key principles of pest management, cleaning and disinfection, and indoor air quality. Learners will be equipped to develop and monitor an Environmental Sanitation Programme and fulfil the requirements for ECC registration.
What You'll Learn
The course aims to equip learners with the fundamental knowledge and skills to perform their duties as Environmental Control Coordinators. By the end of the course, participants would be able to understand the Environmental Public Health Act, the roles and responsibilities of Environmental Control Coordinators, have a better overview of pest management, cleaning and disinfection, and indoor air quality, to draft and oversee the implementation of an Environmental Sanitation Programme as Environmental Control Coordinators.
Entry Requirements
Learners should preferably be/possess:
a) At least 21 years old;
b) At least secondary school education;
c) Able to speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Workplace Literacy Level (WPL Level 5);
d) Work experience of at least 2 years.
