About This Course
To�provide�awareness and information to members of the public, who will learn to recognise and assist persons with dementia, and refer them to community resources for support.
What You'll Learn
The course aims to foster a dementia-friendly society by providing quality care and support to persons with dementia, and enabling members of the community through advocacy and training. This course will also debunk myths and shed light to the effects and challenges of communication with people with dementia. At the end of the course, participants will be able to recognise the signs and symptoms of dementia, assist those with dementia in distress and tap on the appropriate community resources to assist persons with dementia.
