Singapore was ranked number 1 in the world in the Global Food Security Index for the second year running in 2019 due to the diversified import sources and long-term planning. There is a need to transform the local agriculture sector into one that is high-tech, highly productive and resource-efficient. This new strategy has also triggered training needs to equip the workforce with skill sets in agritechnology as more farms are adopting high-tech farming methods to improve productivity.
Entry Requirements
A relevant local polytechnic diploma or degree from recognized institutions.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of atleast 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness.
