About This Course

In this course, you will learn the important aspects of Aquaculture, which include Feed Nutrition, Diseases Management, Hatchery Technology, and Aquaculture Systems, and many more! With the rapid expanding aquaculture production around the world, the insights gained here can improve aquaculture management so that seafood demand can be met in an environmentally and economically sustainable way.

What You'll Learn

This subject covers the study of patterns and processes in the natural world and their modification by human activities. Major environmental issues such as global climate system and climate change, and native issues relating to the environment in the context of aquaculture will be discussed. This subject will survey some key environmental science topics at an introductory level, and ultimately consider the sustainability of human activities.

Entry Requirements

O’ Levels at least 3 ‘O’ Level passes and 1 year of relevant working experience OR

Higher Nitec GPA ≥ 2.0 OR GPA ≥ 1.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience OR

Nitec GPA ≥ 3.5 OR GPA ≥ 3.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience OR

Higher Nitec in Technology/Services GPA ≥ 2.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience OR

Nitec in Technology/Services GPA ≥ 3.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience OR

WSQ Qualification Relevant WSQ Qualification with 1 year of relevant working experience and WSQ Workplace Literacy Statement of Attainment (SOA)(Level 6) AND Workplace Numeracy Statement of Attainment (SOA)(Level 6)

Without relevant academic qualifications at least 2 years of relevant working experience
