About This Course
This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Lift & Escalator Sector
At the end of the course, participants will acquire skills and knowledge to:
• Perform inspection of hoistway
• Perform progressive inspection for lift installation
• Inspect a completed lift installation
• Carry out run-in test for lift
• Perform testing and commissioning of new lift as per statutory requirement
• Perform inspection of existing lift
What You'll Learn
This course will equip and certify lift personnel to work independently to perform testing and commissioning of lifts.
Entry Requirements
Completed Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC) OR Completed Work at Height (WAH) Course;
and
At least 1 year’s working experience in related field of lift maintenance; and
Ability to read and write in English; and
Completed course in CoC in Lift Maintenance for Lift Specialists
