About This Course
This course aims to equip participants with data analytics skills through assessing accounting transactions, as well as identifying and detecting non-compliances with internal controls. Participants will be able to demonstrate knowledge and apply the internal control principles based on Committee of Sponsoring Organisations’ (COSO) and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners’ (ACFE) Occupational Fraud and Abuse Report
What You'll Learn
In this module, participants will acquire knowledge on the internal control principles based on COSO and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners’ Occupational Fraud and Abuse Report to embed basic internal controls and compliance checks during transaction processing. They will also be able to explain and use analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel to apply analytics techniques to assess their accounting transactions to identify and detect non-compliances with internal controls, demonstrating appropriate professional judgment in the process.
