About This Course
After the completion of the WSQ programme, learners will be able to apply their knowledge, skills and attitudes required of Building Construction Supervisor to oversee or supervise tunnelling construction work or process carried out in a worksite safely and without any risk to health.
What You'll Learn
PS1: Explain and interpret WSH legislations and other requirements relevant to deep excavation and tunnelling works
PS2: Identify WSH hazards including unsafe work conditions and practices in a deep excavation and tunnelling work-site
PS3: Evaluate and control risks in accordance to the organizational Risk Management Plan
PS4: Identify gaps in the existing control measures and report to management for appropriate corrective actions and preventive actions
PS5: Monitor and review the health condition of workers in a compressed air environment
PS6: Assist in the evacuation of workers in an emergency situation

Entry Requirements
Entry Requirement (Prior Knowledge) - Learners must have completed the Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course (BCSS) or Supervise Construction work for WSH (SCWSH)
Assumed skills and knowledge – Recommended for the trainee to achieve WSQ ESS Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 4.
