PWM-Security: Capability Development (Induct Security Personnel)
About This Course
This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Security Sector.
This course aims to provide people already working in the Security Manpower environment with the attitude, skills and knowledge required to conduct people’s development programs within the following sub-sector/s – People Development. This course is one of the mandatory units for any individual who wishes to move up to the rank of Security Supervisor.

Characteristic of Workplace Learning
Workplace training is one of the key components in transference of knowledge at a job site. It allows the workers to be familiarize with the new working environment and the organisational procedures. It gives them understanding of their new roles and responsibilities. The workers would also have a chance to know their person-in-charge. There are many reasons and methods in performing such a task. In this segment, the learner will focus on developing a workplace learning plan using competency-based training.
Facilitate Training Program
Having develop the workplace learning plan and OJT guide, the next step is to begin facilitating the training. As workplace trainers, the learner must explain why are they performing the task in such a manner. This allows purpose and show the importance of the process in performing a given task.
Entry Requirements
Entry Requirement of Learner:
• listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills WSQ (ES WSQ) Level 3
• read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills WSQ (ES WSQ) Level 3
• manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills WSQ (ES WSQ) Level 3
• act in a professional manner
• observe confidentiality
• be least 20 years old
