About This Course
NVSCI equips students with skills such as Analytics and Automation coupled with Lean Management and Design Thinking to drive innovation in LSCM. The course is aligned to the Logistics Skills Framework’s Technical Skills and Competency (TSC).
The course is intended to fulfil the aspirations of the working adults to acquire LSCM knowledge and skills either to prepare them for additional responsibilities in their existing jobs or to enhance their job mobility when seeking new opportunities in LSCM.
What You'll Learn
This one (1)-year Diploma (Conversion), launched in Oct 2018, comprises two (2) Post Diploma Certificates (PDC) with a total of two hundred and seventy (270) curriculum hours conducted over two (2) semesters.
The course aims to provide students with knowledge and skills on foundational, digital and innovation elements in logistics and supply chain management (LSCM), to better prepare them for the demands of the dynamic global supply chain industry and profession.
The target audience consists primarily of working adults who are diploma graduates as well as other graduates who are considering LSCM as a career choice.
Since the 1980s, the School of Business (SB) has offered logistics and supply chain management modules as one of the specialisation tracks under its Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) programme. This programme is in line with SP’s mission to offer CET courses to upskill working adults’ knowledge and skills to value-add to the profession and industry.
