- model, simulate and evaluate control of grid inverters.
- analyze and understand the impact of grid codes on system design. "
What You'll Learn
The course provides an overview of commonly used grid connected inverters for 3 phase Alternating Current (AC) supply and discusses the grid codes they have to meet. The course will explain the working of 3 phase grid inverters and their characteristics. It will discuss the process of selecting the inverter and line filter components. It will compare various types of inverters and explain how to choose the right inverter for the application. It will explain how grid inverters are controlled. It will explain how to develop simulatiuon models for the Grid inverters. It will discuss and analyze the various grid code requirements.
Entry Requirements
"- Bachelor or Diploma in Engineering (such as electrical and/or electronics engineering), or equivalent qualification; OR
- relevant work experience in related industries. "
