About This Course

This a module under the Diploma in Infocomm & Digital Media (Cyber Security).

What You'll Learn

This module equips learners with the fundamental concepts and techniques of security policy and incident management. Learners will learn the essentials of security policy development, risk assessments and organisational security models. Learners will also learn to monitor security events, perform network forensics analysis and proactive detection of attacks, and be introduced to security incident response.

Entry Requirements

GCE ‘O’ Levels 3 relevant passes and 1 year relevant working experience:
Subjects/ Min. Grade:
1. English Language - 7
2. Mathematics (Elementary or Additional) - 6
3. Science - 6

FT Nitec:
GPA >= 3.5 in an engineering or information technology discipline.
GPA >= 3.0 in an engineering or information technology discipline and with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.

PT Nitec in Technology/Services:
GPA >= 3.5 in an engineering or information technology discipline and with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.

FT Higher Nitec:
Engineering or information technology discipline with GPA >=2.0
Engineering or information technology discipline with GPA >=1.5 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience

PT Higher Nitec in Technology/Services:
Engineering or information technology discipline with GPA >=2.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
