About This Course
This course will equip participants with the competencies to
i) identify rheological properties of materials
ii) identify the test methods and geometries of the rheometer
iii) describe various rheological behaviour using common constitutive models
iv) recognise how rheology can be applied in product development and testing.
What You'll Learn
A combination of theory and hands-on activities as well as case studies will enable participants to better link the fundamentals of rheology to their daily applications.
Entry Requirements
For experienced rheometer users (>1 year), ITE qualification and above in engineering or science related discipline.
For new rheometer users, polytechnic qualification and above in engineering or science related discipline.
Spreadsheet skills and graph reading would be necessary. Content covers some trigonometry and algebra, so proficiency in these areas would be useful.
