About This Course
The course objective is to develop a deep understanding of the concept of digital twin, its creation process and its uses for participants. It empowers participants to further explore the creation of digital twin in their organisation, either as engineers, designers, or as decision makers planning for their company’s direction in adoption of emerging technologies. In particular, digital twin for mechatronics, automation equipment to support advanced manufacturing.
What You'll Learn
Digital Twin is an important element in digital transformation in the age of Industry 4.0. Participants will find out how having digital twin of physical machines impacts business costs, time to market and productivity. This course will take participants on a journey of digital twin creation. Through hands-on exercises, create their very own digital twin model and see it come to life. This digital twin does not only reside in the virtual world, it also communicates with sensors and controllers in the real world.
Entry Requirements
"• Possess at least a Diploma / Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Qualification, or participants with related working experience in the field of engineering.
