About This Course
Learning Outcomes:
1) Acquire the knowledge and application of a variety of specialty tea products and related equipment for the preparation and serving specialty tea
2) Demonstrate skills and techniques in preparing and serving specialty tea in accordance with the standard operating procedures
3) Identify customer preferences and recommend an acceptable specialty tea option to the customer
What You'll Learn
Learn about the different origins and characteristics of specialty tea products and how tea plantation terroir and different processing methods affect flavour and quality. This course is recommended for junior tea specialists, baristas and front of the house staff who are required to prepare, serve and recommend specialty tea and tea products to the customers based on their preferences.
Entry Requirements
Successfully completed Secondary 2 education and attained WPLN Level 3 in English proficiency.
