What You'll Learn
After learning to “Walk the Talk”, learners will be equipped with skills and knowledge to assess the impact of trends and issues on their work roles and hence team performance. This provides the baseline and motivation for learners to lead as team leaders in contributing to the development of team plans and business unit strategies to achieve organisational goals. Learners will apply facilitation skills to lead and manage these processes. They will also inculcate a positive mindset of engaging in continual professional development to improve their strategy planning skills.
Having considered plans and strategies at the unit or department level, learners need to ensure that these plans are executed in compliance with good governance and corporate social responsibilities. They will also need to assess the implications and impact of team plans and processes as well as corporate governance management processes so developed, on employees.
