About This Course
To equip all specialty coffee operators, baristas and individuals with the knowledge and technical skills in preparing and serving specialty coffee through blended learning.
What You'll Learn
1. Distinguish the characteristics, ingredients, recipes and methods for the preparation of different types of specialty coffees.
2. Use appropriate tools, equipment and ingredients for specialty coffee preparation in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
3. Practice compliance to the legal requirements and the standard operating procedures for preparing and serving specialty coffee.
4. Demonstrate skills and techniques in preparing and serving specialty coffee in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
5. Work independently as well as in team by using effective communication tools and techniques for peer learning in the workplace and to create positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
6. Reflect on their strengths and weaknesses to gain self-awareness, and new insights of self and practice.
