Therapy Assistants (TAs) play an integral role in the rehabilitation of the patient. They are key players in supporting the therapists in carrying out the relevant routine interventions and also reporting to the therapists if any changes are observed in the patient’s performance. A competent TA is able to follow the instructions of the therapist duly and perform the interventions as accurately as possible. This course will teach the relevant skills required for the TA to provide appropriate assistance to therapists so as to optimise the functional outcome of the patient.
