What You'll Learn
1. Both Stroke and Parkinson's disease are major causes of disability in elder people. Recent research has shown that neurological rehabilitation is important and effective both in the early stages and for longer term management of consequent physical and psychological well-being.
2. This module surveys the literature on effective rehabilitation approaches and also the wider implications for home and participation in the community.
3. Participants taught to integrate both research findings with experience and discusses possible factors that could contribute to clinical effectiveness of various rehabilitation approaches and methods.
