Corporate Sustainability Strategy and Reporting
About This Course
The Specialist Diploma in Environmental & Corporate Sustainability (SDECS) aims to equip students with the essential knowledge and applied skills to address pressing environmental and corporate sustainability challenges. Comprising two Post-Diploma Certificates in environmental sustainability and corporate sustainability, the programme provides a holistic foundation for professionals seeking to upskill and contribute meaningfully to sustainability initiatives in their organisations.
Students will explore a broad range of topics, including climate change, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, circular economy applications, carbon footprint management, environmental regulations, sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable finance. The curriculum integrates both environmental and corporate dimensions of sustainability, ensuring that learners gain insights into global frameworks, national policies such as the Singapore Green Plan and Resource Sustainability Act, as well as practical industry practices to avoid greenwashing and drive responsible business transformation.
By the end of the programme, students will be able to apply sustainability concepts and tools across multiple contexts, from waste management and product life cycle design to carbon management and corporate strategy. Graduates will be prepared for roles in sustainability management, corporate reporting, stakeholder communications, and ESG-focused functions, enabling them to contribute effectively to their organisation’s low-carbon and sustainable future.
