The ADECL aims to equip students to:
a) develop a good foundation in Curriculum & Pedagogical Leadership
b) acquire the competencies to lead centres in Strategic & Administrative Leadership
c) develop core competencies to lead teams and centre operations

PDC1 will ground students on Curriculum & Pedagogical Leadership first before introducing Strategic & Administrative Leadership in PDC2. PDC1: Educational Leadership I consists of 6 modules:

4. Leading in Curriculum & Pedagogy
5. Professional & Reflective Portfolio for Leaders I

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for ADECL PDC1 only, candidates need to have met the following criteria:
a) Have completed an ECDA-recognised diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or equivalent;
b) Be an ECDA–certified Level 2 teacher; and
c) Have at least 4 years of teaching experience post-L2 certification.
