The ADECL aims to equip students to:
a) develop a good foundation in Curriculum & Pedagogical Leadership
b) acquire the competencies to lead centres in Strategic & Administrative Leadership
c) develop core competencies to lead teams and centre operations
What You'll Learn
PDC1 will ground students on Curriculum & Pedagogical Leadership first, before introducing Strategic & Administrative Leadership in PDC2. PDC2: Educational Leadership II consists of 6 modules:
1. Visioning, Planning & Coaching
2. Collaborative Leadership
3. Operational Leadership
4. Instructional Leadership
5. Professional & Reflective Portfolio for Leaders II (45 hours)
6. Leadership in Practice II

Entry Requirements
Completion of PDC1-Educational Leadership I (i.e., attempted) is a pre-requisite for PDC2. To progress to PDC2 (having completed PDC1, candidates are required to:
a) Be nominated by the early childhood development centre; and
b) Have completed the pre-requisite core courses as identified by ECDA and offered by NIEC.
